Tamu Sana Kanyama Preparatory Academy of Creative Arts and Media Technology is an Accredited, Non-Traditional Education Center.

Our mission is to inspire a commitment to scholarship, family, and community while maintaining a standard of excellence manifested through academics, creative arts and media technology.

We’re based in Atlanta, Georgia and we serve students in grades 9 - 12. We offer onsite and home school learning opportunities.

Our History

TSK Prep (Formerly My Way Home School Collective) was founded in 2008 by Aynda Jackson (Robert), Donna Wilberg (Lendon), Wendy Washington (Roderick) , and Aminah Abdullah. These four mothers were determined to make sure the education their children received was extraordinary.  My Way HSC was birthed as a safe haven for scholastic excellence. The home school as well as the children quickly outgrew the resources of the initial program and by Fall 2009 My Way HSC had opened it’s doors as a fulltime high school program seeking accreditation. Accreditation was awarded in Fall 2011 and is up to date and current.  My Way HSC graduated our first class in 2012, before officially changing the name to honor long time educator and community activist sister Tamu Sana Kanyama.

FAQ’s

  • T.S.K. has proudly graduated 8 classes, all graduates have been accepted at fully accredited 4 year institutions . Alabama A&M University, Including, Fisk University, Dillard University, Atlanta Metropolitan College, and Johnson C. Smith University, Florida A&M, Georgia Southern. The class of 2021 with only 4 students was offered a million dollars in scholarships and grants.

  • Students may transfer with a zero balance.

  • Our students (with a 3.0 GPA in all academic courses) are eligible for Early College beginning Fall of 11th grade

  • TSK reserves the right to review coursework and or test students who are attempting to gain credit for their previous homeschool work.

  • TSK graduates are eligible for the H.O.P.E. Scholarship/Grant.
