Updates and Information
Tamu Sana Kanyama Preparatory Academy is once again partnering with Kilombo to celebrate African-centered excellence with our 4th Annual Educate to Liberate virtual celebration on December 2nd!
This event delivers entertainment and reflections for the whole family. This educational process is physical, spiritual, intellectual and communal. Our event shows that we have the power to educate our children ourselves.
Educate to Liberate is one of the key fundraising events of the academic year. The money raised is put towards student scholarships, teacher compensation and program essentials.
With your support our kids can dream big dreams. Through our programs they participate in activity based learning and work together to solve problems and support each others goals!
Amazon Wish Lists are a convenient way for people to help organizations get needed items sent to them directly, without waiting for cash donations. Donating items from lists created by nonprofit organizations might reassure those who have reservations about donating money online.
The items donated to No Stones Movement supports our staff and students directly. We're grateful for each and every gift.
Many parents and students come to T.S.K. with the notion that College Education is not worth the money it costs. It has become a lower middle class, “Woke” idea that college is a scam and that students are wasting time and funding on training that will lead them to permanent employment and without the tools for entrepreneurship and independence.
Unfortunately, this belief falls in line with the experiences of many real life stories in our communities. Yet, the idea and the sadly misguided journeys of many, are part of a legacy of misinformation and misunderstandings that has been passed on from generation to generation in pursuit of a solution to a number of issues in our community. We could spend a lifetime breaking down the dynamics and casualties of these issues.
Since October 18th, 1974 I have been well loved! I have never had to want for food, water, shelter or safe arms to hold me or lift me up. I was born to unconditional love, a family, community, a nation to call my own. Never in my life has there been a lack or limitation physically or ideologically.
I firmly believe that every woman, man and child deserves this reality, to be born free. And so we continue the long road to total liberation for All Afrikan People.

From a New Afrikan perspective this film had tremendous significance. To be New Afrikan is to order one’s steps toward a vision of glory; a Camelot of Afrikan Royal greatness realized in a physical, tangible, political, and spiritual culmination of a collective Afrikan excellence. Somehow Marvel Studios, if only for a moment, captured a sliver of this picturesque, consecrated, pinnacle hidden previously in the divining of our greatest oracles and the quiet whispers of our hopeful bedtime stories.
No Stones Movement Director Aynda Jackson was accepted into DevoCenter Changemakers program because of her commitment to scholarship and holistic education. NSM hit a major income milestone in 2021 and they are preparing to deliver more extraordinary learning experiences.
NSM empowers teens and young adults by helping them expand their mind, enhance their spirits, strengthen their bodies and embrace their culture so that they can demonstrate the best versions of themselves and be an asset to their communities. Their vision is the holistic development of inner-city youth, ready to lead in Georgia.
This one-day event is intended to celebrate the African-American Cultural Celebration of Kwanzaa. Its goal is to educate the community, and engage youth in culturally relevant traditions. We are also fundraising for Tamu Sana Kanyama Preparatory Academy - an Independent High School dedicated to inspiring a commitment to scholarship, family, and community while maintaining a standard of excellence manifested through academics, creative arts and media technology.
Our theme is a Winter Wonderland and we’ll have smores, hot chocolate, hot cider, guest speakers, storytellers, drummers, and more!
